About ABA Architects

ABA Architects (formerly known as Anthony Brabazon Associates) was formed in March 1993 by sole practitioner Anthony Brabazon. The practice is located in Sandymount, Dublin 4 and has handled an average of 60 new projects each year since 1993 and provides a wide range of services across the architectural spectrum. Apart from the refurbishment and extension of a mews house in Kensington in 1994 all the projects have been carried out in Ireland with the highest concentration being in the South Dublin area. New houses have been provided in counties Clare, Wicklow, Offaly, Meath, Kildare while over 100 projects have been carried out in University College Dublin at Belfield and their outlying campus’, the most notable one being the recently completed Oakmount Creche Extension (see photo above). Recently conservation work has become a part of the portfolio with the completion of a 5 unit renovation on Rathmines Road, a restoration of a 3 storey over basement Georgian terraced house on Herbert Place and sundry works to other protected structures in Dublin. Planning advice and feasibility studies have also formed a significant element of the workload. Apartment developments have been carried out at Wellington Quay and Monkstown Farm and a mixed commercial scheme at Walkinstown Cross.
