Anam Design Studio is an award winning interior design practice headed by Liz Hughes and Alex Michell. The firm’s multidisciplinary approach is dedicated to creating thoughtful, elegant and engaging spaces that are unique to the clients requirements. Our distinct, yet complementary, backgrounds in interior design, architecture and industrial design brings a unique focus, enabling us to work across a range of disciplines simultaneously in the pursuit of creating beautiful design. Our preference for natural materials and artisanal fabrication is borne out of a desire to build interiors that will age gracefully, eschewing the uniformity of overly processed and machined products for the charming imperfections of the hand made. Our designs are intended to be tactile, developing their own distinct patinas over time that can only be earned through daily use. We look for beauty in every detail that we design, creating spaces that elevate the everyday and bring joy to those who inhabit them.
