The practice is made up of Principal Dominick Comerford and Yas Fernández. . Dominick is a Registered Architect, Landscape Architect, Building Contract Consultant and Chartered Arbitrator. He has a Masters in Landscape Architecture from UCD and post-graduate higher diplomas from Trinity College Dublin in Project Management, Construction Law and Contract Administration. Dom is also a part-time tutor at UCD School of Landscape Architecture. Yas is a Spanish Architect and Artist based in Dublin. Her primary passions are Art and Architecture and she has finished her Master Degree in Secondary and Sixth Form Teaching specialising in Drawing. . Dom's designs are driven by a desire to make spaces and places that work and flow together, feel good and are filled with natural light, warmth and fresh air. There is a strong emphasis on access both direct and visual to the often neglected external spaces. Yas's priority is to work hand in hand with clients and communities to achieve the best design possible, from the first sketches to the final task on site. Together we specialise in not only designing a building that will bring delight but that in its execution will be energy efficient and comfortable. We apply passive house principles to all projects as much as possible, to ensure comfort and cost effectiveness in the long term.
