‘Meitheal’ is an Irish word that describes the tradition of neighbours and communities coming together in a working cooperative. Meitheal Architects was established in 2002 by a team of individuals who recognised the need for a more collaborative approach to design and project procurement. Adding value to each and every project, the team at Meitheal Architects consists of highly skilled designers, architects, technologists and administrators who deliver quality, client-focused designs. We take the time to understand our client’s vision, placing emphasis on delivering value and nurturing long-term working relationships. With decades of industry experience, we understand that the most successful projects are those with a solid partnership built on strong communication and thoughtful design. Our team are led by three directors and five associates who strive to build strong relationships through a collaborative, cooperative approach. We understand that a home is a major undertaking for any client, a space that is a true expression of an individual’s or family’s needs, lifestyle and circumstances. Our approach is site specific and bespoke. We offer a full home procurement service, from inception to handover, and work with a team of preferred, specialist, residential contractors. Quality of execution is paramount and successful management of the process and forensic attention to detail are trademarks of our approach. We are very proud of the reputation we have grown with council planning departments and we have been selected to be cited as a best practice example in the “Good Practice Guideline” documents published by many local authorities.
